Yacht Club
Yacht Club Sanremo was established in 1947 by a group of sea professionals and
sailing enthusiasts willing to foster this skill among the youths and also to
promote sailing events in the Italian Riviera.
Sanremo was chosen as the home to great yachting and sailing events since 1920,
when the “Compagnia della Vela” was founded to sponsor sailing activities.
Today Yacht Club Sanremo, led by Commodore Beppe Zaoli, is a modern facility
offering a wide range of activities including sailing school projects for children
and young people and international regattas for different classes of boats.
Thanks to the mild climate of the Riviera, sailing can be enjoyed throughout
the year. At Yacht Club Sanremo’s, competitions are celebrated for the enjoyable
and varied regatta course and the truly beautiful landscape.
